POONCH, Oct 8: The dead body of an elderly man was recovered from a Nallah in Mankote area of Mendhar Sub Division in district Poonch today.
The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Mohd Bashir, son of Sher Dil, resident of village Nad in Mankote. The police said Bashir was missing from home since yesterday. Today his nude dead body was found lying in the shallow water of the Nallah.
A villager noticed the body and informed police. Later, his body was shifted for postmortem to Mendhar hospital. The police has registered a case in this connection.
