SRINAGAR, Jan 16: A youth ended his life after consuming poisonous substance at his home in Bandipora district.
A police spokesman said that Nasir Ahmed Dar alias Nowroz; aged 23 years son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Zalpora-Nowgam, Bandipora consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sumbal for treatment where from he was referred to SMHS, Srinagar, where doctors declared him brought died.
Police has initiated an inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC in this regard.
