JAMMU, Jan 16: Provincial Clerks Association (PCA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Krishan Singh and discussed various issues.
While speaking, Krishan Singh demanded promotion of Section Officers (SOs) working in other departments at par with Civil Secretariat Section Officers and removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre employees in accordance with the assurances given by the Government.
He laid stress on the setting up of the training institutes at Jammu and Srinagar with hostel, library and other facilities, grant of risk/ hard duty allowances to store keepers, typists, record keepers and others, expeditious payment of 6th CPC arrears in one installment in cash, enhancement of medical allowances to Rs 1000 and enhancement in the retirement age on central pattern etc.
