JAMMU, Jan 16: National Secular Forum in a meeting, under the chairmanship of Dr Vikas Sharma, State president, constituted its unit in Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura, here today.
Abhilash Gupta was appointed as chairman, while Sohaib Ahmed as president, Avinash Choudhary vice-chairman and Vishal Khajuria, Sonam Tsewang and Akshay Kumar as vice-presidents.
Goverdan Singh and Pankaj Dass were appointed as general secretaries, Rajesh Sharma, Sanjay Kumar and Arjun as secretaries, Rinjan as cashier and Priya Khanna as organizing secretary. Aadil Ashraf was appointed as publicity secretary, Akashdeep, Bhagyashali, Prince Jamwal and Arun Kumar were elected members.
Addressing the meeting, Dr Vikas Sharma said that the move is going to make NSF broad-based and stronger.
