Azad for action plan to check accidents

NEW DELHI, Jan 16: Expressing serious concern over the frequent accidents in erstwhile Doda district, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad today said that State Government should formulate a comprehensive and practicable action plan with utmost sense of urgency for bringing down the loss of precious human lives.
In a statement, Mr Azad said, “I feel that State Government needs to formulate a comprehensive action plan to check loss of precious human lives in road accidents”.
Expressing shock and grief over loss of lives in accident at Bhalla in Doda district, Mr Azad said, “I share the anguish and pain of the bereaved families and stand by them in this hour of grief. May Almighty grant them courage to bear this irreparable loss”.
He also expressed solidarity with the injured persons and wished them early recovery. He urged the concerned authorities to provide all possible assistance to them.
