SAMBA, Oct 14: One person died after his motor cycle bearing registration number JK02N-6451 was hit by an Alto Car bearing registration number JK21A -5388 at National Highway. Dera Ganotra in Vijaypur tehsil of Samba district today.
He was identified as Ajay Sharma, 35, son of Ruldhu Ram of Karwal Bishnah, Jammu.
Police said after his bike was hit by the car it in the instance hit an auto moving on the highway resulting into serious injury to biker.
He was taken to Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur where doctors declared him as brought dead. The dead body was later shifted to CHC Ramgarh for postmortem and Vijaypur Police has taken the cognizance of the case and registered an FIR under relevant sections of the law.
In another incident one person consumed some poisonous substance at his present residence at Chak Salarian village, Ramgarh Sector. He was identified as Sabud Rashi Dev, son of Ghana Rashi Dev of Govindpur, Bihar. He was brought to Vijaypur Emergency Hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The Ramgarh Police has taken cognizance of the case.
