R.S PURA, Oct 17: Confederation of SC/ST Communities here today organized a discussion under the name ‘Bhim Varta’ at R.S Pura.
In a handout Confederation President, R.K Kalsotra informed that 1000 such discussions are planned for the State before Nov 5 to aware masses.
He demanded reservation in promotions, amendment in SRO-294, inter district recruitments for SCs, restoration of reservation in New Recruitment Policy etc.
He said that Confederation has asked the Government to concede its demands by Nov 6 else its (Confederation) activists will gherao the Civil Secretariat on its opening on Nov 6.
Janak Raj, Sudesh Kumar, Madan Lal, Ravi Kumar and others also spoke on the occasion.
