JAMMU, Oct 19: Natrang Director, Balwant Thakur has been invited to National Hindi Theatre Festival and Seminar which is being held at Bharat Bhawan in Bhopal from October 28 to November 2.
Organised by Sumukha in association with National School of Drama, Union Ministry of Culture, this major theatre event will feature a Hindi Seminar entitled ‘Hindi Main Moulik Natakon Ka Abhaav Kayon’ in which Balwant Thakur will deliberate on the subject.
Though Balwant Thakur is known for his magnificent theatre productions as a director and has also established his distinguished signatures for his unique innovations in theatre but very few people know yet another fact that he has also established a big name in the field of play writing. Credited with over 24 original plays in Hindi and Dogri, Balwant Thakur’s few plays have given a new dimension to Indian theatre.
