Car stolen from hotel parking

JAMMU, Oct 19: A car has been stolen from the parking of a prestigious hotel of Jammu last evening.
As per police sources, a Hyundai car Grand I-10 Sportz bearing registration number JK02BW-0326 was found missing by the hotel staff when the guest, the owner of the car, after having dinner with his family at Chinar Restaurant of Ramada Hotel, came back at hotel lobby to collect his car.
According to owner of the car, Sameer Bhasin, he handed over the car keys at Valet desk of the Hotel Ramada at around 7.20 pm last evening.
However, after having dinner at the restaurant, somewhere between 9.30 pm and 10 pm, when he asked the valet desk to bring his car, they informed after a long wait of half an hour that the car could not be traced in the premises. Even the keys of the car were found missing from the valet desk of the hotel.
Accordingly, the owner of the car lodged a complaint and a case under FIR Number 124/18 under Section 379 RPC has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
