JAMMU, Oct 19: Miran Sahib police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a drug peddler and recovered 6 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 6 grams of heroin from the possession of the person and arrested him. The arrested person has been identified as Sartaj Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Simbal Camp, Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu. A case under FIR Number 146/18 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started. Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ajit Singh and assisted by Incharge BPP Kullian ASI Yougal Kishore made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourab Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
