JAMMU, Oct 24: To execute work for replacement and installation of 33KV VCB, CT, C&R panels, the shutdown of 33/11KV Sub-Station is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Bahu Fort and its adjoining areas will remain affected on October 25 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Similarly, the power supply to Ratnuchak, Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas will remain affected on 26 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, to carry out reconductoring/repositioning and allied works, the power supply to Vijaypur, Koulpur, Bandral, Ramgarh and its adjoining areas on rotational basis will remain affected on October 26 to October 31 from 9 am to 5 pm.
However, for thickening of conductor from Bantalab to Roop Nagar, the power supply to Upper Roop Nagar, Lower RoopNagar, Chinor, Durga Nagar and Buta Nagar fed from 33/11 KV R/Stn.Roop Nagar and adjoining areas will remain affected from October 26 and 28 from 7 am to 2 pm.
As per Superintending Engineer EM&RE Circle Kathua, to carry out the work for reconductoring of Samba-I feeder, the shutdown of 11 KV Samba-I and PHE feeders is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Adarsh Colony, Indira Colony, HB Basti, Arzi, Dansal, Triloke di Chapri, Thalore Mandi, Garh Mandi, Sangwali Mandi, Kheir and PHE tubewells will remain affected from October 25 to October 30 from 7 am to 12 noon.
