JAMMU, Oct 25: Pacca Danga police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a drug peddler alongwith intoxicants.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pacca Danga Police Station laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 236 intoxicants capsules and 75 tablets.
The arrested person has been identified as Abdul Rashid Dar, son of late Abdul Slam Dar, a resident of Tehsil Bijbehara, District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 159/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Virender Gupta made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Varun Jandial, SP City Amritpal Singh and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
