Sanction of 2 degree colleges victory of BJP struggle: Baru

Party gives credit to Dr Jitendra Singh’s efforts

REASI, Oct 25: The Katra Unit of BJP today said that with the sanction of two degree colleges in Katra and Pouni respectively a long pending demand of the people of these areas was fulfilled.
Talking to reporters here, today Mandal president, BJP Katra, Ajay Baru along with other leaders of the area gave full credit to Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh as well as local MLA, Ajay Nanda for getting the two colleges sanctioned in the two townships of Reasi district.
Baru said that this demand was made by him and other BJP leaders of the area several times and they feel pleased with the sanction of the two colleges in the two townships which will relieve the students of far flung areas in traveling Reasi for higher education.
Paying gratitude to union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh and local MLA Ajay Nanda, he said the people surrounding Katra had to travel 75 kms a day for higher education.
He appealed the administration to be very careful in choosing the land for college so that students have not to face transportation problems. The BJP leaders also complimented the people of Katra for reposing their full faith and trust in the party and its leadership by casting their vote enmass in favour of party during recently held Municipal Committee elections.
Baru, while terming Dr Jitendra Singh a great visionary leader said that it was with his efforts that several dream projects were brought for Jammu region in general and Kathua -Doda Parliamentary Constituency in particular and once these projects are commissioned the fate of Jammu will change and region will emerge as a prosperous region of the State which was neglected by previous Governments for decades together.
