JAMMU, Oct 27: Civil Society for Development of Jammu and Kashmir (CSD J&K) president, Puneet Singh Jamwal today appointed Geeta Thakur as chief of its women wing.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamwal said that prime aim of this society is to highlight critical issues, bring forth neglected areas and involve people especially youth in the development of State so that it becomes most favored destination of investors, tourists, pilgrims and others.
Expressing her gratitude to CSD J&K team for posing its faith in her, Geeta Thakur said she will follow principles of the civil society and carry forward its programmes and policies amongst people.
She appealed to the Governor to ask district administration of Jammu as well as security agencies for not closing the road outside civil secretariat here after the Darbar moves to Jammu.
