8 bovines rescued, 2 arrested

RAMBAN, Oct 29: Police rescued 8 bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka near Shan Palace and intercepted a Srinagar bound vehicle.
During checking, police rescued 8 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Mohammad Aslam, son of Farid of Kanga District Ramban and Mohammad Bashir, son of Abdul Aziz of Dharmkund, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 175/18 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal made the arrest under supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
