Copper remains up on increased industrial demand

NEW DELHI, Jan 19:  Copper remained higher and prices added Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today on increased industrial demand amid a firm global trend.
Traders said increased industrial demand amid a firm global trend mainly kept copper prices higher.
In the national capital, copper added Rs 2 to Rs 432 per kg.
The following are metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 121-125, nickel plate (4×4) 1,067-1,070, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 432, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 143, lead imported 141, aluminium ingots 132, sheet cutting 133, aluminium wire scrap 137 and aluminium utensils scrap 132. (PTI)
