KATHUA, May 4: SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Kathua conducted a programme on Domestic Electric Appliances Repairs (DEAR) from April 5 to May 4. This was the 12th programme organized at SBI R-SETJ campus Kathua.
During the valedictory function today Aman Kalsotra, DDM, NABARD Kathua, R K Kalsotra, Associate Officer Lead Bank Kathua and Mohinder Kumar Director, SBIR, SETI, Kathua were also present.
During the course of programme 27 participants from different areas of district were trained in various skills involved in domestic electric appliances repairs. On the occasion certificates were distributed to all the 27 participants who expressed great satisfaction on the training conducted.
In his address Kalsotra advised the participants to use talent acquired for generating income and urged them to get registered with DRDA/DUDA.
Mohinder Kumar urged the participants to discuss the problems if any freely to enable banks to help rural people in setting up self employment units for generating income.
