JAMMU, May 4: Various communities are celebrating their congregations on May 6, the Budh Purnima with religious fervour and enthusiasm at their respective places of worship.
Phawa Mahajan community in its meeting held under the presidentship of Harbans Lal Gupta (Shawl Wala) finalized the arrangements for the congregation at Mandir Baba Kailakh Nath Ji, Lower Thathar, Ban Talab Jammu. Biradari general secretary Arun Gupta said this year also night stay, lunch, dinner, breakfast and other arrangements have been for the devotees and Biradari members who are coming from other parts of India to participate in the congregation. The programme will start with Hawan and Arti of Baba Kailakh Nath Ji followed by Kirtan and Arti of Chandi Mata. A grand Bhandara will also be organized on the occasion.
All India Idder Mahajan Biradari congregation will be held at Krishna Nagar, opposite Science College in Datti-Da-Mandir on May 6. Hawan will start at 10 am and Datti-Ka-Langar from 1 pm onwards. Biradari president Ajay Dewan has requested all the Biradari members to attend the congregation with families and get the blessings of Datti Ji.
Bi-annual congregation of All Mahajan Jandyal (Sansah) Biradari is going to be held on May 6 at Baba Sehaj Nath Ji Devsthan, Kameshwar Mandir, Akhnoor. All Biradari members have been requested to participate along with their families and have blessings of Baba Ji. Ashnan would be held at 5 am, Pattal Puja at 11 am and Bhandara from 12 noon onwards.
Meanwhile bi-annual congregation of Bral Brahmin Biradari is being heldf on Saturday May 5 at Mawa Brahmana and on May 6 at Basawa near Chowki Chora, Akhnoor Jammu. The devotees belonging to Bral Brahman Biradari and others have been requested to participate and take blessings of Kul Devi. Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma will be the chief guest. The committee members Mangal Bral, Bhushan Bral, Vikel Bral, Subash Bral, Sugam Bral, Joginder Pal Bral, Major Ram Bral participated in the meeting to finalize congregation arrangements.
The annual meeting of Magotra Biradari is being held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 10 am at their Kuldevta Mandir at Chowadi. All Biradari members have been requested to attend the meeting the agenda of which would be prtesentation of annual report and accounts for the year 2011-12, Bhawan Nirman works to be undertaken during the current fiscal and any other issue with the permission of Pradhan Ji.
