POONCH, Oct 31: A young woman was kidnapped by a youth from Mendhar area of district Poonch last evening.
The police said one Mohd Qador, resident of a village near Mendher, lodged an FIR at the local Police Station late last evening, alleging that his wife has been kidnapped by one Shah Nawaz Ahmed, resident of Rajouri.
On the basis of some clue, the woman was recovered from Thudi Kandli area of Rajouri today by as police party from Mendhar. The woman after Medical examination and performing legal formalities was handed over to the family.
