JAMMU, Nov 10: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented Dogri musical play “Vidya Daan – Sab Cha Mahan” in its Saturday musical series at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan, Janipur.
The play was presented in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education, Janipur.
The songs sung by the artists/students were “Maa Saraswati Sharda”, “Vidya Daan – Sab Cha Mahan”, “Satya Mav Jayate”, “Apu Padhna Duen Padhana Ghar Ghar Eae Diya Jalana”, “Guru Bin Gyan Kha Se Aye”, “Jan Jan Ka Utthan Karo Ghar-Ghar Vidya Daan Karo” and “Sun -Sun Saheli Meri Sun, Paruhn Likhu Yehi Meri Dhun”.
The music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, music instructor of BLSKS. The play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, chairman of BLSKS.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Kuldeep Raj, Renu Saproo, Vansh Raina, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib, Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Bodh Raj, Azeen Ali, Bablu Kumar, Deevam Jandiyal and many others.
