JAMMU, Nov 10: Border Police Post (BPP) Nari arrested a man along with smuggled liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from BPP Nari laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AF-5323, which was coming from Kullian towards Nari.
During checking, police recovered 40 quarters of smuggled liquor and arrested the rider, who has been identified as Ram Lal, son of Sewa Ram, a resident of Kotli Shah Doula, Tehsil RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 151/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge BPP Nari ASI Parkash Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ajit Singh, SDPO RS Pura Sourab Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
