BJP secures Samba Municipal Committee

JAMMU, Nov 13: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured the Samba Municipal Committee with its Councillor, Pawan Kumar Kohli elected as the Chairman of the Committee in the presence of BJP State general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi and former Minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal (MLA). Councillors Seema Amba and Prince Kumar also joined BJP and supported the party’s candidate for the president’s post whereas Councillor Ram Kumar Sharma also supported the BJP candidate.
The BJP Councillors in the Committee included, Tara Chand, Sanjeev Padha, Vinod Singh Sambyal and Arti Anthal with Kamer Singh as the vice-president of the Committee.
Yudhvir Sethi, while congratulating the president and vice president of the Committee, asked them to work with more dedication from now onwards. He said that every post comes with an added responsibility and one must take care of it sensibly.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, while addressing the jubilant party workers, said that BJP has always worked at the ground to feel the pain of common man. He said that unlike Congress, which serves single family, BJP has initiated new era of democracy with in the political party itself.
