A project of such importance should not have been put on the back burner by the authorities keeping in view the rising number of vehicles on the City. Presently, the city is witness to massive traffic jams here, there and everywhere. These jams are causing great inconvenience to commuters, and other people. To mitigate these sufferings the concerned agencies should treat the matter as urgent and take whatever measures are need. Delay in executing work will result in increase in expenditure which may later on become unbearable.
It may be mentioned here that the road flyover running through Jewel Chowk is playing an important role in the traffic movement of the Jammu City.
