Teachers Forum apprises DSEJ about demands of all cadres

JAMMU, Nov 20: Today a delegation comprising of all cadres of Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by Ganesh Khajuria, State general secretary, called on Director School Education Rakesh Srangal and apprised him of the problems being confronted by the cadre.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum, containing all the demands, which include; streamlining salaries of surplus Masters once for all, regularization of those promoted from class IV to Junior Assistants, Lab Bearers to Lab Assistants and Lab Assistants to Teachers in their own pay and grade, regularization of ReTs who have completed their 5 years of satisfactory services, adjustment of those Class IV employees, who were promoted as Junior Assistant in Distt Rajouri, Selection Grade to the Undergraduate Teachers and covering Contingent Paid Workers and Cooks under Minimum Wages Act.
The Forum also urged the Director to simplify the permission process in favour of the in-service Teachers/Masters/ Lecturers desirous to enhance their academic and professional
Those who were part of the delegation, included Gopal Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Soorat Singh Toofani, S Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Mohd Iqbal, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Raj Singh, Shankar Singh, P D Singh, Joginder Singh, Daleep Digra, Manpreet Singh, Neeraj Choudhary Sudershan Singh, Siddharath Padha, Puran Singh, Asgar Ali and others.
