JAMMU, Nov 22: Women Wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its State President, Rajni Sethi organized “Mahila Jodo Abhiyan” at party Headquarters here by today in presence of BJP State president, Ravinder Raina, Ex Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi and All Morcha Incharge Munish Sharma.
More than 280 women joined the BJP fold from different districts.
While welcoming the new enchants, Ravinder Raina said that “BJP is a party of nationalists and we welcome every nationalist person in the party”. He also said that people from every section of the society are eager to join the party to strengthen it. He added that BJP has always championed the cause of women and fought for them empowerment and stressed on the greater role of women in the society. He said that BJP is the only political party that has given representation to women very fairly in every field and stands for true empowerment of women. He said that this is very clear from the decisive steps taken by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government of the Centre. He wished good luck of the dedicated role of Mahila Morcha in approaching elections to ensure party’s win with absolute majority once again in 2019 elections.
Kavinder Gupta said women empowerment is to empower women by promoting their participation in all areas. He added women need capable environment and it is only the BJP party where Mahila can do their work freely with cooperation. He said for India’s future and to have strong, powerful and corruption free India, “We want BJP under a strong leader like Narendra Modi to rule India so that some structural changes can be brought in for positive change in India irreversibly. As of today, BJP and Narendra Modi seem to be the best choice for the nation, he added.
Ashok Koul in his address threw light on the dedicated role of women in the society. He said that BJP is an organization where woman have equal rights and respect as they play a major role and have sizeable quantity unlike other political organizations.
Yudhvir Sethi, on the occasion, while congratulating Mahila Morcha for the success of “Mahila Morcha Abhiyan” said that the key to the success in 2019 lies with the Matrshakti and Mahila Morcha.
Munish Sharma said that the Mahila Morcha forms very important part of the main organization. He stressed that for the effective representation of the rights and issues of women, the Mahila Morcha workers have to share the responsibility by working extra mile.
Rajni Sethi urged Mahila workers to replicate similar events in their respective district and mandals to spread the ethos of “Mahila Jodo”.
