6 injured in road accidents

RAJOURI, Nov 23: Six persons were injured in three separate road accidents in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that two persons were injured when a Maruti car No. JK02B/ 2554 collided with a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK12A/6198 in Manjakote area today. Tata Mobile was on way to Poonch from Jammu while the car was moving in the opposite direction. The two persons travelling in car were injured and shifted to CHC Manjakote and then to DH Rajouri. They were identified as Gias-ud-Din (29), son of Sannaullah and Khursheed Ahmed, son of Mohd Shafi, both residents of Seri Khawaja, Surankote.
Another report said that three persons were injured when a Maruti car No. JK-11/8037 which was on way to Behrote from Sora village, rolled down into a gorge near Behrote today. All three injured were removed to District Hospital Rajouri. They were identified as Sail, son of Nasiyat Hayat; Mohd Arshad, son of Mohd Feroz and Bilal, son of Mohd Rafiq, resident of Behrote.
Meanwhile, a youth was injured when his tractor rolled down while ploughing in hilly area of Dhar Sakri in Kandi. Seriously injured driver was rushed to DH Rajouri and then referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. He has been identified as Vipin Singh, son of Vishwanath Gorkha, resident of Gagrote. The police has taken cognizance.
