JAMMU, Nov 24: Commissioner Secretary PWD (R&B), Khurshid Ahmad Shah toured Katra and Udhampur areas to inspect the languishing and other ongoing projects.
Shah instructed the engineers to complete the projects within stipulated timeframe.
Both the Chief Engineers of R&B and PMGSY Jammu apprised the Commissioner Secretary in detail about the languishing projects with the assurance that they will be completed within the stipulated time.
During visit Shah also inspected ongoing works of doctors staff quarter at Katra, CRF/PMGSY roads, college building at Udhampur and bridge over river Tawi on Ramnagar road.
He also convened a meeting to review the progress of R&B & PMGSY sectors at Udhampur in which Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar was also present.
Instructions were issued to the Deputy Commissioner and both the Chief Engineers to conduct periodic reviews of various ongoing works.
Superintending Engineer (R&B) Udhampur, Superintending Engineer PMGSY Udhampur, Executive Engineer PMGSY/R&B Udhampur and Katra accompanied the Commissioner Secretary during his visit.
