JAMMU, Nov 28: A delegation of Teachers Joint Action Committee, led by president Employees Joint Action Committee and Chairman Teachers Joint Action Committee, Abdul Qayoom Wani, today called on Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Choudhary, Principal Secretary Finance Naveen Kumar Choudhary and Secretary School Education Ajit Kumar Sahu in their office chambers at Civil Secretariat Jammu for discussing the burning issues of SSA Teachers.
Wani highlighted the issues of Head Teachers, RAMSA Masters / Headmasters, particularly implementation of 7th Pay Commission from September 2018, de-linking of SSA salary from MHRD to State budget, creation of posts and regularization of unregularized RETs, which have already been agreed in principle by State Government with the leaders of TJAC.
The delegation was assured by Khurshid Ahmed Choudhary that the decision which was already agreed by Governor’s Administration will be approved in next SAC meeting. He said that Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam was very much desirous to resolve this critical issue and Principal Secretary Finance N K Choudhary and Secretary School Education Ajit Kumar Sahu have put their all efforts in resolving this long pending issues once for all.
The delegation comprised of ReT Teachers Forum president Vinod Sharma, State Chairman SSA Teachers Association Shah Fayaz, Pir Nissar, Lekh Raj Parihar, Mohd Abass and others.
