Guv urged to start Super 50 coaching centres in Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 28: Various KP organizations today appealed Governor SP Malik to start Super 50 coaching centers in Jammu province also.
In a meeting of KP organizations held here today in connection with the notification issued by the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir regarding selection of candidates for Super 50 coaching centres, the speakers criticized the partisan approach of State Education Department.
As per the notification, free coaching for the competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, NEET, JKCET, UPSC/JKCS shall be imparted/arranged by the Government. For availing this facility, a screening test is scheduled for which no center has been arranged in Jammu for the aspirants residing outside the Kashmir Valley.
The speakers appealed Governor SP Malik to intervene personally and arrange adequate centers in Jammu, Udhampur and Delhi for screening and coaching of aspirants who are either KP migrants or belong to other parts of J&K. They also urged Governor to extend last date of submission of forms.
An appeal was also made by the speakers to Director School Education, Jammu to take up the matter on priority with his counterpart in Kashmir and arrange screening and coaching on same lines in Jammu Division.
The meeting was co-chaired by BL Jalali (social activist and president of Rainawari KP Action Committee), Jatin Bhat (chairman, Global Helping Hand), Retd Col GK Raina (Director, Global Helping Hand) and representatives of Helpline Humanity.
