Noise pollution

Sir,
It has been reported several times already that people are subjected to increasing levels of noise and it has made the life of people quite miserable.
Exposure of people to the loud sounds leads to aggression, hearing loss, sleep disturbances and other psychological issues.
When the tolerable limit of 75 to 100 decibels is crossed, sound become jarring and creates panic not only human beings but also animals.
It has also been revealed that high levels of sounds are one of the main reasons for cardiovascular issues like hypertension and increased heart rate.
To counter the harmful effects of noise pollution certain measures need to be undertaken.
These include: A separate zone for industries quite away from residential houses, schools and hospitals. People should approach courts for strict ban on the use of loudspeakers in religious places.
The laws that are already in place should be implemented strictly.
Yours etc….
