Educational institutions celebrate ‘64th Republic Day’ with patriotic fervour

JAMMU, Jan 24: Various educational institutions celebrated 64th Republic Day with patriotic fervour and zeal.
A cultural programme on the eve of the 64th Republic Day was organized by the NSS unit of Government College of Education, Canal Road. On the occasion, students sang patriotic songs, followed by speech. Dr Kaushal Samotra, Principal threw light on the importance of the day.
GD Goenka Public School celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. Students presented speeches and also recited poems. They also prepared various art and craft materialsa. Poonam Jha, Principal, highlighted the importance of the day.
64th Republic Day was celebrated by SOS Hermann Gmeiner School. On the occasion, students presented cultural items including solo dance, group dance and skit. Principal RK Dhar urged the students to follow the footsteps of founders of constitution.
Republic Day was celebrated by Shri Mahavir Jain Higher Secondary School with pomp and show. Students recited poems and also sang patriotic songs. Principal Prof IS Sodhi and Headmistress Aruna Pandoh threw light on the importance of the day.
64th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Army Public School, Akhnoor. Brigadier AK Verma, Chairman hoisted the National Flag, followed by cultural programme by the students. Principal KCS Mehta was also present.
Air Force School, Jammu celebrated 64th Republic Day with patriotic fervor. Air Commodore PE Patange, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu, Captain Shashikant Pati, C Adm O Air Force Station Jammu, Squadron Leader Sonia Rahaja, officer incharge Air Force School and Vikesh Sandhal, Principal highlighted the importance of the day. Students presented dances and songs based on patriotic theme. Later, prizes were also distributed among the students.
JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School, Talab Tillo celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. On the occasion, students presented colourful cultural programme and mesmerized the audience. Sanjeev Gupta, MD, Rajni Gupta, Academic Director and Geeta Dixit, Vice Principal highlighted the importance of the day.
Crescent Public School, Janipur celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. On the occasion, students presented various cultural items. Arshad Choudhary, Chairman and Tasneem Kouser, Managing Director threw light on the importance of the day.
Shemrock International School, Bantalab celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm. On the occasion, students presented various cultural items. Fancy dress competition was also held by tiny tots.
64th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor by Tiger Asha School. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal Nilima Mishra. A cultural programme was also organized by Rita and Gurcharan, in which children danced on the tunes of patriotic songs. In the morning, a “Parbhat Pheri” was also organized, in which children participated enthusiastically.
TS Public School and Euro Kids celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. Attired in colourful dresses, students presented various cultural items based on patriotic theme. Slogan writing competition was also organized. Chairperson of TS Group of Institutions, Pooja Malhotra, highlighted the importance of the day.
Mother Care Kids Club, Peer Mitha celebrated Republic Day in wherein students presented colourful programmes and exhibited their talent. Principal Shalini Mahajan paid tributes to the architect of Indian Constitution.
To celebrate Republic Day, Euro Care, Trikuta Nagar organized various sports activities, in which students participated actively. Bala Gupta, Director threw light on the importance of the day.
Kidzee, Gandhi Nagar celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and joy. On the occasion, Managing Director Parneesh Mahajan hoisted the National Flag in presence of Nishant Jandial, Liaison Officer Harvinder Sihotra, Coordinator Ankur, staff members and students.
