JAMMU, Nov 30: All India JK Bank Employees Federation here today expressed resentment against State Administrative Council’s (SAC) order to convert JK Bank into a Public Sector Undertaking.

In a press conference, Federation President, Haji Farooq Ahmad and General Secretary, Chand Khair termed the decision of SAC as destructive for the Bank and bank employees and it will also adversely affect the business community of the State and will lead to devastation to already suffering economy of the State.
They appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to keep the Bank outside the ambit of PSU and let the bank keep functioning with its existing organizational structure as it has always performed well even during the odd years of banking history.
These employees also staged a protest demonstration in support of their demand.
