JAMMU, Dec 1: Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Member Legislative Council (MLC), today laid foundation of lane and drain at Chib Mohalla, Digiana in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Segment.
While speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to fulfil the poll promises made during the elections. He further said that BJP in Jammu and Kashmir has tried its level best to carry forward the slogan ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
Randhawa said that the work of lane and drain which has been kick-started today was a long pending demand of the people of area. He said that during municipality elections he had promised people to start work on the said lane and drain immediately after the municipality elections and expressed his satisfaction that the promises stand fulfilled.
Randhawa also thanked the people of the area for extending support to the BJP candidate during recently held municipality elections. Newly elected Councilor, Raj Rani Jamwal was also present on the occasion.
The locals complimented MLC for showing keen interest to carry out development in the locality and assured him of full support to the BJP in the coming future also.
