RAJOURI, Dec 2: Shocked over the sudden death of her mother, a minor girl made suicide attempt on her life at Sunderbani this morning.
A police spokesman said that minor Sonika Sharma, daughter of Pt Surjeet Kumar, resident of Sunderbani allegedly consumed some poisonous substance after the sudden death of her mother at 7 am today. The girl was rushed to local hospital where doctors washed her stomach and further referred her to GMC hospital, Jammu. Her condition was later stated to be stable.
