JAMMU, Dec 3: In Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Dharminder Paul Singh Raina seeking direction to respondents to provide specialized treatment to the border firing victims, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan has issued directions to the respondents for filing objections within two weeks.
“It is the duty of the respondents to create and provide basic treatment and facilities and to create special task force for providing best medical facilities to the border firing victims”, the PIL said, adding “because of inaction on the part of the respondents the public at large is left at the mercy of destiny and the facilities being provided by the respondents are grossly inadequate”.
