64th Republic Day celebrated with patriotic fervour

JAMMU, Jan 25: 64th Republic Day was celebrated across Jammu region with patriotic fervour and zeal.
The management, staff and students of KC Public School celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour. The National Flag was hoisted by Sudershan Mahajan, Chairman, followed by cultural prgramme by the students. On the occasion, students who scored a perfect 10/10 GPA in the CBSE Examination in the Class 10th were also honoured.
SD Tara Puri Public School, Gandhi Nagar celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm. School Secretary Ram Lal Sharma, who presided over the function in his speech, highlighted the importance of the day. Neeru Puri, Principal was also present. Students presented cultural programme.
Blooming buds of Daffodils Care Convent, Jain Bazar celebrated 64th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. On the occasion Managingn Director Narider Gupta hoisted the National Flag. Attired in colourful dresses, students presented various cultural items based on patriotic theme. Principal Shikha Puri threw light on the importance of the day.
Lord Mahavira Playway School celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm. Principal Madhu Sharma and Vice Principal Geeta hoisted the National Flag. The students were attired in colourful dresses and also presented a play, written and directed by Tarun Sharma.
KS Public School, Muthi celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm. Students presented various cultural items including play “Bharat Ke Shaan” and patriotic song “Vande Matram”. Mukta Sharma, Director and Seema Malhotra, Principal threw light on the importance of the day.
Narulas The First Step School, Trikuta Nagar celebrated Republic Day with zeal, in which staff members, students and their parents took part. Children presented various cultural. A ‘Show Your Nationalism’ competition was organized, in which Dr Sadaf Maheeen emerged winner.
A special function in connection with Republic Day was organized by Lavish Social and Educational Trust. Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, senior congress leader and Chief Patron Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Jabbar Trust, Vinod Pandita, Chairman of the Trust paid rich tributes to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
To mark Republic Day celebration, Congress leader Surinder Singh Shingari organized a blood donation camp at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Bakshi Nagar, in which young workers donated their blood. On the occasion, DCC president Om Chopra was also present.
