RAMBAN, Dec 7: A drug peddler has been arrested along with 500 grams of cannabis.
As per police sources, during patrolling on Mehar-Maitra road, a team from Ramban Police Station intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 500 grams cannabis from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Subhan, son of Lassu Sheikh, a resident of Mehar, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 199/18 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal made the arrest under supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
