Interaction on climate change held

JAMMU, Dec 8: The activists of “Nature-Human Centric Peoples Movement (India)” namely Comrade Roop Lal, Deedar Singh, Dwarka Sharma and P K Kher visited the High Court complex and held interaction on “Increasing Intensity of Global Warming / Climate Change, its causes and way out” with the members of Bar Association.
Comrade Roop Lal and Deedar Singh, while addressing the gathering, stated, “there is no option left than to make every possible effort to preserve the environment otherwise it is sure to result in destruction of the mankind.”
“This campaign should be carried out by each and every one at global level because no force can stop a polluted air environment in Delhi to cross the borders and effect the population of the neighbouring countries”, they added.
Senior Advocate B S Slathia, President of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu said, “we should educate the general public about the repercussions of the environmental pollution caused due to various factors including the casual approach of the successive Governments”.
“Admittedly, it is a great danger for the human lives and we should not destroy the nature for accumulating the capital at the cost of human life”, he further said, adding “environment sustainability is very important and if it not preserved we shall not be able to save the next generation from the multiple diseases etc”.
Advocate H C Jalmeria compared the proceedings of the meeting.
The prominent among others who were present in the programme were Sachin Gupta, Vice President, Prem Sadotra General Secretary, Himanshu Sharma, Joint Secretary, Chetan Misri Treasure, Daljit Singh Manhas President, YLA and Pradeep Majotra, Vice President YLA.
