JAMMU, Dec 8: A store of Pradhan Mantri Jana-Aushadhi Kendra was opened at Hazuri Bagh Road, Bohri, near here.
The store was inaugurated by State President Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Leela Karan Sharma while BJP State Secretary & Municipal Corporator, Sanjay Baru, Rifat Nazir Nodal Officer BPPI J&K (PMBJY), Baba Bhagwan Dass Jee Sanchalak Udas Marg Sanstha R.S Pura and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Baru said that the public is thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his concern about masses especially those hailing from the neglected and depressed sections of the society.
He also threw light on the Gold Card of Jana Aarogaya Yojana and provided important information on the same to the masses.
Leela Karan Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that these stores are providing a source of great service to the humanity.
Proprietor of Kendra, Dr. Neeraj Tekkar, MD will provide his expert guidance and awareness in improving the usage of Jan Aushadhi medicines.
He also disclosed that there are about more than 600 types of allopathic medicines available at BPPI central warehouse Bilaspur for the benefit of people.
