JAMMU, Dec 9: All J&K Accountant cum Data Entry Operators (DEO) Union here today demanded that authorities concerned should honour the contract on which Data Entry Operators were engaged.
In a handout Union President, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Dar stated that Accountants cum Data Entry Operators were engaged in Rural Development Department on contractual basis for four years but now the authorities concerned have issued an order as per which the services of these accountants have been discontinued from May 2018.
The Union has appealed to B.B Vyas, Advisor of Governor S.P Malik to ask the concerned authorities to honour the contract so that these Accountants may complete their four years of contract.
He also demanded regularization of the accountants whose performance remained up to the mark.
