Metro Rail from Amphalla to Akhnoor demanded

JAMMU, Dec 10: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has demanded construction of Ring Road from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur High Court road and start of metro rail project from Amphalla-Manda to Akhnoor.
In a protest rally here today JWAM President, Sunil Dimple said that there is no traffic mobile plan in the Jammu city.
He said the JWAM will continue agitation till the ring road and metro train are not started from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur High Court road to Roop Nagar-Bantalab and ultimately to Akhnoor.
He alleged that the Govt is making plans to widen the Amphalla Janipur High Court road by 20 feet from both sides up-to Roop Nagar-Bantalab which will affect the livelihood of the five lakh people running business and living on both sides of this road.
He condemned the move to allegedly snatch livelihood and houses of the people and added that there should be some plan to overcome the traffic problem on this Janipur High Court road.
He also reiterated the demand of Rehari Chungi- Jewal Chowk flyover.
