JAMMU, Dec 10: Rotary Club Jammu in association with Sachdeva Netralaya here organized a free retina eye check-up and eye donation camp at Gurudwara Sahib Chati Patshahi Talab Tiloo.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Rotary Club President, Dr Navneet Gupta wherein Dr Abishek Sachdeva checked the patients.
Over 150 patients were screened and 20 cases of retina ailment were referred to Sachdeva Netralaya for further treatment free of cost along with over 25 cases of cataract.
Sat Sharma, ex-Minister visited the camp and requested the people to take advantage of such camps.
The people were also made aware about eye donation by the Project Director, Sunil Kumar Sawhney.
Deepak Baboo, Club Secretary; S.K Sawhney, Harbans Singh, Prem Shanker Singh, Dr Gaurav Vaid, Dr Anil Amla, President Elect RC Jammu and Rajat Singh with his team were also present in the camp.
