LEH, Dec 11: GOC, 14 Corps, Lt Gen Y K Joshi called on Chief Executive Councilor/Chairman, LAHDC, Leh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at Council Secretariat today and had a brief meeting regarding various issues related with Army.
The Deputy Chairman Gyal P Wangyal, Executive Councilor for Minorities Mumtaz Hussain, Maj Gen Y K Mor, SM GOC Leh Sub Area and Col Saurabh Saklani, Col MS, 14 Corps were present in the meeting.
CEC highlighting the historic relationship of Ladakhi people and Army since independence took various issues of local farmers, transporters and laborers aiming to benefit them in most organized way. The meeting after detail discussion agreed to devise a roadmap involving both the Army and LAHDC, Leh functionaries to resolve and address all the issues and demands in days to come.
