JAMMU, Dec 11: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
“The victim identified as Balbir Dass (45) son of Ayodhya Dass, resident of Akhnoor, had received serious injuries on December 9 when a scooty on which he was travelling, was hit by a car at Tanda,” a police official said.
The official said on the same day, he was shifted to GMCH Jammu, where he expired today at about 2.50 AM. “After postmortem, the body of the deceased has been handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,’ he further said, adding, the Akhnoor police had taken cognizance of the matter.
