SAMBA, Dec 13: A scooty rider was injured here, today. According to the police sources, the mishap occurred at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Chichi Mata temple Samba when the tipper bearing Registration No JK21A- 8872 which was coming from Samba side hit a scooty bearing Registration No JK02AW- 8874, as a result the scooty rider Rohit Kumar, 19, son of Krishan Pal resident of Patel Bazar Jammu got critically injured.
He was brought to District Hospital Samba with the help of local people, but doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
The Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
