JAMMU, Dec 14: Senior Advocate, Prof Bhim Singh was elected today as Senior Executive Member of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), New Delhi.
He was declared elected as Senior Executive Member of SC Bar Association for the third time. Earlier, he was elected twice as Member of the Executive Committee also.
Prof Bhim Singh announced that an urgent meeting of National Legal Aid Committee shall be held in New Delhi to work out a plan to extend free legal aid to the deserving persons who cannot afford to engage a lawyer.
