JAMMU, Dec 15: One person was killed while three others were injured in two road accidents in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
A pedestrian identified as Basant Kour (75) wife of late Raghubir Singh, resident of Simbal Morh, was hit and seriously injured by an unknown vehicle near her residence this afternoon. She was immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu from where her attendants took her to Ludhiana but she died on the way near Kathua. The body of the deceased was shifted to GMCH Jammu for postmortem.
Meanwhile, two cars collided with each other at Miran Sahib. In the mishap, three persons namely Jaswinder Kour (33) wife of Rajinder Singh of Kunjwani, her son, Trishdeep Singh (10) and Rakesh Kumar (47) son of Sadhu Ram of RS Pura got injured. They were shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, Miran Sahib police had taken cognizance of the matter.
