Sainik School Nagrota organises ex-students’ meet

JAMMU, Dec 16: The Ex-students’ meet of Sainik School Nagrota was organised at the School auditorium, here today.
The annual get-together witnessed a large number of alumni of the school turning up to relive the most memorable moments of their seven years stay in the school.
The programme commenced on a customary note with the recital of the school song “In the shadow of the mighty hills” followed by a presentation by the Vice Principal highlighting major activities and achievements of the school during the current academic session. Further, the cadets presented a cultural programme.
In his address to the alumni, Capt (IN) A Muthuraman, Principal, outlined the measures being undertaken by the school to develop the personality of the cadets commensurate with the requirements to achieve the objective of the school.
Among the distinguished alumni, Maj Gen Ramesh Raina, Prof Keshav Sharma and Randheer Singh Billoria from the first batch delivered keynote address. The 1986-93 batch commemorated Silver Jubilee year since passing out from the school. Senior teachers of yester years like Mr Puri, Mr Khajuria and Mr Kundal were also present on this occasion.
