JAMMU, Dec 17: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, a pedestrian identified as Muneer Ahmed (60) son of Lal Din, resident of Jandial (Akhnoor), was hit and injured by a bike, which was being rashly driven by Sahil Kumar son of Tarsem Lal, resident of Chakroi (RS Pura), on December 3 at Chakroi.
The injured man was under treatment at GMCH Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries today at about 3:20 PM. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
