JAMMU, Dec 18: State Gurdwara Parbandhak Board (SGPB) and District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu, have demanded capital punishment for Congress leader Sajjan Kumar for his role in anti-Sikh carnage in Delhi and demanded similar punishment for another Congress leader Kamal Nath and his immediate removal as Madhya Pardesh Chief Minister.
Addressing media-persons here today, TS Wazir, chairman of SGPB and along with leaders of DPGC Jammu, SAD (Asr), SSF leaders while referring to Delhi High Court verdict, termed it step in right direction but said that punishment given to him is not enough. He said after long 34 years, a big fish has been caught and he deserves the death penalty for the killings of so many innocent Sikhs. He said there is disappointment in the Sikh community. Sajjan Kumar deserves capital punishment.

Wazir further said there are so many other such big fish roaming free and demanded fast track trial of each and every culprit incusing police and other Government officials and political leaders. He said senior Congress leader Kamal Nath is equally culprit in the Sikh carnage in Delhi during 1984 riots. He was made Chief Minister by Congress Party. There is strong resentment among the community over it. He should be dropped immediately from this position. He said delhi carnage of 1984 ve declared as Genocide as it was aimed at ethnic cleansing of Sikh community.
He further urged upon the State Governor to frame a SIT to probe killings of Sikh in 1984 and 1989 and also in Chittisinghpora in Kashmir. He also demanded publication of Ansari Commission Report immediately so that real culprits are exposed.
President DGPC Jammu Jagjit Singh, members Kuldeep Singh, Fateh Singh, Darbinder Singh, H S Raina and others also accompanied Wazir.
